A two node Velop system should cover most 1-2 bedroom apartments/homes and a three node Velop system should cover a 5 bedroom/6,000 square foot home. Each node is rated to cover 2,000 square feet. That means that you buy two or more depending on the size of the home/apartment you’re trying to cover. The AirPort Extreme is 5 years old!!
